With Chornobyl recently back in the news, Ronnie and I watched the HBO limited series “Chernobyl” again. I had forgotten how excellent it was. It really made us feel like we were there when it happened. Incredibly acted and written, it’s one of the best things I’ve seen. It might just be THE best overall television production ever.

Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, and Emily Watson turned in some of the best acting work on screen, and the writing was spectacular and unforgettable.

(Note: What’s the difference between Chernobyl and Chornobyl? The first is the Russian transliteration, and the second is the Ukrainian. It’s the same difference between Kiev (the Russian transliteration) and Kyiv, and why, when speaking or writing, I will always opt for Ukrainian.)
